New Artwork Painting – Nightcap
Here’s my latest fine art figurative oil painting and the second in a new series. It’s created using a knife, as is my trademark style, in two layers to allow the sweeping knife strokes of the black background to influence the foreground subject knife strokes. The chiaroscuro technique, minimalist background and lighting adds to the atmosphere without distracting from the subject. I absolutely love it and the image doesn’t do the original justice! Take her home tonight…
