Latest Painting – Late Night Deliberation
The latest figurative oil painting in my series ‘Romantic Pursuits’.
She’s created on a 91cm x 61cm stretched cotton canvas using a knife – See my ARTIST’S STATEMENT for details how. The chiaroscuro technique, minimalist background and dim lighting adds to the atmosphere without distracting from the subject. The lady is simply beautiful and elegant. It’s a superb composition, full of passion, drama and emotion. Is she waiting for her lover or deliberating her situation? That would be telling and it’s between you and her to decide… Either way, she’s relaxed with a glass of wine and very inviting in her poise.
